To give all school students (grades 3-12) the opportunity to take on a personal fitness challenge at their individual level of fitness through a healthy, active and social event. This event is totally focused on participation, fun, enjoyment, getting students active and providing an individual challenge in a safe environment.

add remove

The easiest and quickest way to enter is by downloading the entry form off the website or asking your school / physical education teacher for an entry form.

Will creating my fundraising page register me for the Schools Triathlon Challenge?

add remove
Unfortuantely it won't. This site is to raise much needed funds for Diabetes Australia, which is the charity partner of Schools Triathlon Challenge.

To register to participate in STC, you will need to complete the entry form here, and then your Entry forms MUST be given to your Physical Education Teacher or the teacher in your school who is organizing your STC team.

Fundraising for Diabetes Australia

How do I, or my school fundraise for Diabetes Australia?

add remove

It's so easy!  Simply register yourself, and then create your school team.  Once you've done that, share your school team page through the school community and encourage everyone to donate!

How will I reach my fundraising target?

add remove

Raly the school community to donate as part of their participation in Schools Triathlon Challenge.  It can be as simple as encouraging every student to raise $20 through their family network and donate to your page.

There are so many other fundraising activities you can do to reach your goal. The Diabetes Australia Fundraising team is here to help you by offering suggestions and providing resources for you to use. In our experience, people love to get behind people they know so all you have to do is ask!

Where will my fundraising go?

add remove

Your donations will go to ensure people living with or at risk of developing diabetes have access to the support and information that they need. As well as hope for a future where diabetes can do no harm.

How do I calculate the average fundraising for my school?

add remove

It's easy to work out! Just take your total amount fundraised and divide it by the number of students enrolled in your school. This will give you the average per student raised.

Do I use the number of students participating in the school triathlon to work out my average amount per student?

add remove

No. You use the total number of students enrolled in your school.  This includes students in grades K-2.  The more students donating and fundraising, the higher your average will be.

Can someone from Diabetes Australia talk at my school?

add remove

Yes. We may be able to visit your school assembly or even meet with your student council online. We'd love to chat with you about how this may happen.

Do you have posters I can share with my school?

add remove

Of course! Once registered, you will find posters and social tiles on your personal dashboard. You can download them and pop them up through the school and on your socials. These are great to share your team page for online donations and any events you have coming up.

How can we share our fundraising link on our FB page?

add remove

it's easy.  Copy and share your individual or team page link on your FB page, and through your school newsletters etc.  There are social tiles you can download from your dashboard to use with your posts. Just log in to access them.
